{336/365} How we played with Lego hair this day

Thanksgiving was pretty great around here. We spent the actual day with our friends and their big family. It’s always nice spending time with them, as they make us feel like we’ve always been a part of the holidays with them. It’s hard not to relax and feel at home.

On the day after, we seem to have a standing second Thanksgiving day meal tradition with another set of friends. We really enjoy spending time with them, too, and this year our friend broke the curse of the uncooked turkey. She made an amazing meal (as always) and we got to spend a little time with their and their best friend’s boxers, too! (That sweetie pie above is Sable. She’s just a doll… and oh so pretty.)

This last photo isn’t the best, but I was just so taken back by this wonderful cobweb like formation the light created with the rain on the barren branches of our neighbor’s tree. It was too cold to pull out the tripod and still a little rainy, so I just snapped the quickest, stillest photo I could at the time.

Looking at it now, I see it could have been so much better, but I’m still glad I have a reminder of that moment. It was just a bit freaky, but awe inspiring at the same time.

You are such a great photographer, Yaz. all the pics of Fiona are priceless and the pic of the rain drops on the tree look like a Christmas card, I think Hallmark is waiting for you! How does she like dance, she looks so grown up in her ballet shoes and leotard Reply

Thanks Aunt Jeannine! If only Hallmark was waiting for me...

She loves dancing! It's definitely one of her favorite things...along with running circles in the house. :D Reply
