The girl’s been sick a lot this year. It seems like we get her well for a few weeks, then we’re fighting off some other cold or sniffle ailment.
Because of it, her naps have been off schedule a lot these days. This particular day, she took a few mini naps early in the day, so by the time it was the evening, she just konked out on the floor. We tried to give her a pillow, but she got mad and said she wanted to lay on the floor…
Silly, poor little girl… Breaks my heart to hear her coughing all the time…
On one of our outings, the man and I ran across this hat. It reminds me a bit of Frosty the Snowman. I’m sure it does him, too. We liked it so much, though, we decided to make it our new Christmas tree topper.
It’s definitely different and we’ve enjoyed it all season.
If you’re like me, you gravitate towards Pinterest and pin a ton of stuff… never to be looked at again. I recently decided it was time for me to stop pinning and start doing. With Christmas lights everywhere, I tried my hand at this easy backlight bokeh setup with the girl.
All you do is wrap a strand of Christmas lights around a tri-fold project board and voila! Instant Christmas light background! It was perfect for me to find the sweet spot for my lens and create some yummy bokeh. You should try it!
Many more Christmas photos to come. 😉
