It’s amazing what the month of September does to my ability to stay on top of things. I was just going through photos of a wedding I attended this weekend, when I realized I haven’t posted a 365 update in a few weeks!
Going back to where I left off, filling in the missing gaps, I came across a birthday party I attended at the beginning of the month! And of course, I hadn’t processed it at all. Grrr…
With DragonCon, birthdays, anniversaries and all, I definitely need to find a better way to make it through Septembers intact. But I think I’m starting to sound like a broken record…
My cousin’s brought my mom up and turned back around for the weekend, but before they left, I made them play a few rounds of Dance Central 2. They’ve never played the game and were thinking about buying an Xbox for it, so I had tons of fun watching them learn how to play.
Clearly they had tons of fun, too.
That weekend, I also tried to make some cookies, but failed miserably. I really need a place to store my baking sheets and such instead of the drawer at the bottom of the oven.
Note for the future – using cold baking sheets to bake cookies…
Follow up note – make sure you have parchment paper to bake cookies…
The next day, we went to a birthday party for some friends and I was finally able to meet new baby Aniya! She was so tiny… love her to bits.
The girl went to school the next day and made a tambourine with beans! So cute.
While I was cleaning, I found her name art she made in school the week before. Photographed it to remember for the future…
We went to Goodwill the following Friday with the girl and she found this cute little Princess Tiana drum. I’m not one for musical instruments, but it’s not loud when she drums it so it was good in my book.
More catchup photos to come…
