So it turns out my last Project 365 post, I must have been really confused as I skipped a day, messed up my photo count and called the vacation to a close! How I could possibly skip this day is beyond me, since it was a blast of a day and I took tons of photos.
That day was the reason my husband got me the birthday card he did. We went to Fun Spot while on vacation and if you’ve ever been in Orlando and watched some TV, you’ll have come across the commercials for this place.
Now that you’ve watched it, you can repeat after me… “It’s Huuuuggggeee!”
Anywhoooo…
That day was the first time the girl has ever ridden a roller coaster. I’m so proud of her! She was happy until the last turn (3 in total) at which she told me it was too rough.
Regardless, she’s definitely our kid for wanting to ride it.
Now back to my regularly ordered photos…
Later in the vacation, we went to Busch Gardens. We tried to get out to other areas of the park, but we were pretty much confined to the children’s area. It’s all she wanted to do and most everything in other areas was too big for her. Mom and I kept joking we could have just gone to the zoo and the playground for much cheaper as that is all we saw of the park.
Oh, and before I forget, the girl managed to take off her shoes in an area of the park we couldn’t get into (because they were tubes for children). After searching for them with no luck, we ended up buying her the pair of really cute Abby Cadabby water shoes she’s wearing in the photo above…yea… At least someone is blessed with a nice pair of blue-sequined Sperry topsiders…
It was clear from this trip, even though we spaced out the theme park days, we are way out of shape and needed the rest before our trip back. So for our last day of vacation, we decided to stay home and hang out with family and play in the pool.
I was trying to take a good picture of my cousins, but as you can see, there was plenty of photo-bombing action going on…
Once we got back, it was nice to see that my tomatoes had not been damaged from lack of water. Apparently it rained for days while we were gone…
With nothing exciting to do, the girl spent lots of time playing with her sandbox… and showering herself with sand…
As we continued to watch more tomatoes grow…
And I continued to enjoy my lasting pedicure.
I think I need another…if just for the back massage chair action…
Now that is really the end of our vacation photos. 🙂
