I’ve been re-evaluating how much tv the girl watches and while I’m happy for it – as it allows me to work when otherwise I could not – I worry she doesn’t get enough exercise. So this week, we’ve been doing more outside play in the mornings.
Don’t mind my toes… Thinking of getting a pedicure soon…
We also noticed she really likes to play doctor. She’s always trying to give my husband a shot and check his heart. Not sure where she got that from. (Must be a new cartoon.) So we decided to pick up a doctor’s medical kit toy at Target. She has had so much fun with it! She even wanted to sleep with it at nap time.
(Yes, we did let her sleep with the case at the foot of her crib. When we woke her up from her nap, we found she had taken everything out of the case and placed it under her pillow. Maybe my daughter is part dog…)
Lately we’re interested in putting shoes on all of our dolls…
And we’re practicing really hard on blowing bubbles.
In 2 weeks, we’ll be heading down to Florida to visit my mom and see how she’s doing after her knee surgery. I’m so excited, since we’ll be dropping her in a predominantly Spanish speaking household. It will be fun to see her interact with the family. We don’t get much of that her… family or Spanish speaking interaction…
Can’t hardly wait! I’ve missed my mom terribly lately.
