Just outside the door we have a patch of weeds growing between the sidewalk and the much in need of replacement garden border trim.

Each time we walk by it, the girl wants to bend down and pick a flower. I tell her no.

Daddy didn’t know, so when we went out for a walk that day, he let her pick one.

Now she wants me to smell the flower… “Mami smell good?”

Um… yea, s-u-r-e…

She loves flowers now. Picking them and smelling them. We have a collection of some sort of wildflower she grabbed on a nature walk at school yesterday. It’s gathering water and dandering up my home on the kitchen ledge. More on that later…

So, I took myself off of Aperture Priority mode sometime last week, in an effort to fix all my hit and miss photography skills. It’s been interesting to say the least. Trying to remember when to use what setting and why adds a little more stress to the process when you’re trying not to miss moments.

Regardless, I definitely like my photos much better this week.

Change is highly recommended. I think it’s important to do things differently when you want results. We’ve all heard Albert Einstein’s saying:

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

We all have something we’re trying to improve. Why not do something different this week…

What will you do differently this week to improve your “something”?
