Mi niña querida,
It’s October and a month of firsts!
This month, you went to your first county fair. Your “best friend” Lily invited you to go with her so I couldn’t pass the opportunity up. We met up with her mommy and spent an hour waiting in lines so you two could go on the rides.
She had to leave an hour after we arrived, so we said our goodbyes and stayed for a while.
You ended up making a friend…
And riding a few more rides by yourself.
I think you had a blast!
You paid your first visit to a pumpkin farm. The daycare had a field trip to the local Kinsey Family Farm for all the 3 and 4 year olds.
You got to go on your first hayride, listen to a story about a little old lady and pumpkins…
feed some farm animals…
and plant a tree.
You were very tired by the end, but I think you loved it.
We’ve also spent the month with Nana and Bizabuelita. La Abuelita turned 94 years old yesterday! Can you imagine being 94 years old?
She loved the little bird you got for your birthday so much we decided to get her one in blue. She was so happy.
I hope your memory is strong and you don’t forget these moments. I may need you to remind me of them… but then again, this is why I’m grateful for photos. Hopefully you will be, too.
Te quiero, mi ardillita…
