My sweet little one,
Bath time with you is always an adventure.
Sometimes we have tea parties. Other times we play music. Most of the time you spill water over the edge. I’m sure we will have to replace our carpet with hardwoods soon….
Lately, you like to play “rescue duck” with a little firefighter tubby toy we picked up somewhere. Daddy or I have to be a toy in trouble and you get to play the rescue duck who comes and saves us. This is how we ended every bath this week.
I remember the first time we gave you a bath. It was in our kitchen sink. The house might have been a little too cold for your liking and when we rinsed your head, it left you with a puzzled look on your face… that, or you were just plain annoyed with the whole situation.
These days, you don’t just give us looks… your lungs are well filled out and when you don’t like something, we usually get a good bit of foot stomping, loud crying, or in the case of the bathtub, you simply spin yourself away quickly.
And, yes… washing your hair still annoys you.
Te quiero con todo mi corazon, amor.

When I started writing these letters to my daughter last month, I started alone. I made a thread on Clickin Moms to see if anyone wanted to join me, but at the time no one responded. After I posted and the month went on, someone found my thread again and asked to join. From their it snowballed into a fantastic group of beginner and pro photographers of a like mind. I am honored to share this blog circle with them. Not everyone was able to post this month, but you should definitely visit them regardless:
