Recently, I had the opportunity to spend some time with friends, Mandy and Ron, who are moving on to the next step of their adoption journey. For them, it is creating an adoption profile book and getting a few updated photos to fill in some spots for their visual introduction to potential birth mothers.
I was so honored they asked me to take their photos. I’ve been following their ups and downs with the adoption process and have prayed for them to find their perfect situation. It takes a special heart for adoption and these two clearly have it.
The session was calm and fun! And as I “barked orders” at them… Ron’s words not mine (fortunately he said it was helpful)… we managed to get some great shots of them at a new location for me, Poole’s Mill Park. Sadly, I was so busy thinking about the photo shoot, I totally skipped taking photos of the bridge itself! The girl and I will be making a visit back soon for sure!
So, without further ado, here is a sneak peek of Ron and Mandy’s session:
I’ve seen this park in plenty of local photographer’s photos, but I had never actually taken the time to visit. I’m so glad Mandy suggested it and that we decided to shoot there, sight unseen, because the photos came out fantastic. Don’t you think?
