I like being the “go-to” photographer for friends and family. There’s something about having a “role” that makes you feel needed… even if you don’t spend tons of time with your friends. It’s just hard to anyhow, with all of us trying to cram a million things into one day. I know you’ve been there…
So it was definitely nice to hear from Catherine when she sent me a quick text message, asking if I could grab a few photos of her family when I met them at church this past Saturday. That is, after all, part of the reason I carry my camera with me everywhere I go.
It was a beautiful night and the sunset was gorgeous. We were able to find some lovely light just around the side of the building. It literally took us 5 minutes to grab a few photos… which is really good, since my husband was not feeling well at all! He was such a trooper letting me snap these shots of our friends. (And yes, we did rush home so I could tend to his aches! The man was properly cared for!)
Have you ever gotten great photos out of a 5-minute session? Share them with me in the comments! I’d love to see them.
